The role is a contract position for the 2025-2026 school year, with assignments potentially spanning multiple school locations. Candidates will play a vital role in evaluating and supporting students by conducting assessments, writing reports, and participating in meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and interpret a variety of educational assessments
- Compile comprehensive reports detailing student evaluations
- Collaborate with educators and families during individualized education program (IEP) meetings
- Manage a caseload involving students from various grades across multiple schools, potentially in an itinerant role
- Ensure compliance with relevant educational standards and regulations
Qualifications
- Active Florida certification in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) or equivalent intern-level psychologist status
- Experience in conducting educational assessments and familiarity with related courses or protocols
- Strong report writing skills and ability to communicate assessment results effectively
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours as needed across different locations
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with school staff and families
